It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas
Several nights ago Anthony told me I had to go in and look at the boys (they were sleeping). Of course I was thinking, "what mess do I get to clean up this time?" This is what I saw:

(I had to throw blankets on both of them, neither one of them like to wear clothes.) They had taken the stuffing out of one of their pillows and had a little fun with it I guess. They must have been very quiet during this activity. Anthony and I were in the living room, probably watching conference. (We were up in Seattle scouting out places during conference so we've been trying to watch it slowly at night. I must admit, it's kind of nice. It's quiet, you get to hear everything they are saying and you aren't bombarded with all this good stuff. You get it little by little and you can digest it a little better.) Anyway, either they were pretty quiet or we were listening to a pretty good talk!

Jacob's Preschool Halloween Party
We went to Jacob's school today for a fun Halloween party. Makaylin made her mom happy by wearing a costume.

Makaylin and Ethan joined in. You can't see it in the picture but Jacob and Makaylin were holding hands. It was pretty cute.

The kids started out with a parade.

Then they sang a Halloween song on the stage.

They made these cute little candy corn magnets.
There were cookies to frost.

And of course cookies to eat.

Followed by a Halloween story.

It was a fun time for all!!

More Costume Options
I'm kind of thinking that she's not to0 fond of the Snow White costume.
For some strange reason she started running from me after this. I was able to put a shirt on her and then she ran again. When I put the pants on she started laughing. Almost like she was glad that I was done playing dress up. She will keep the tutu on...
(She really wouldn't let me get a very good picture of her, she kept running and laughing.)

Makaylin's Halloween Costume
My boys, especially Jacob, love to play dress up. This is one reason Halloween is so fun. Makaylin, on the other hand, isn't so fond of dressing up. Or, maybe we just didn't pick out costumes that she likes.

My Crabby Children
Me: When we get home it's lunch time and then nap time, for everyone!
Jacob: Well, when I get home I'm going to play!
Ethan: When I get home I'm going potty.
And I'm not flushing the toilet!

Ethan Goes to School
I, of course, have been meaning to post this for awhile now. Ethan loves going to school with Anthony. We had him go one day before school started for Anthony but after school started for Jacob. Both boys got to go to school that day! I didn't think about taking a picture soon enough so they are kinda far away.

The Scariest Part about Moving to Seattle
I was actually going to post this awhile ago, but, you know me!
So, we were driving around Seattle looking for a place to live when we decided that we better get some gas. We pull off and Anthony asks me if I wanted to get it.
Oh, no!!! You have to pump your own gas in Washington!!!!
I am an Oregonian through and through......
They also have SALES TAX!!!!! (How long can I keep my Oregon license?) (If I show it at a gas station, will someone come pump my gas for me?)

Our Trip to Seattle
Oh, I suppose I should tell my faithful readers, first of all, that we are moving to Seattle. For those of you that don't read Anthony's blog, you wouldn't know this since I haven't blogged about it. So, yeaaaaa, we're moving to Seattle!!! Anthony got a job at Amazon, he starts in January. Ok, so truthfully, we're scared. We are both small town kids and Seattle isn't really all that small. Amazon isn't all that small of a company either. Yes, we are excited, but mostly scared right now. Anyway, we went up to Seattle the first weekend in October to see if we could find a place to live. We were hoping to find an apartment complex that we liked that would have an opening for us in December. We ended up finding out that we could rent a house and pay about the same price. So, we will need to go back up to Seattle to find a place to live probably in December. It was good to get up there and look around but it ended up being a lot of driving around. Luckily my mom took the boys so we only had one kid with us. The trip would have not been very possible with three kids. Makaylin did pretty good for being in her car seat ALL DAY LONG.

We keep our old camera in our van because we always forget to bring our new camera. This way we will always have one with us. We forgot to bring our new camera on our little trip so I used the old one to take the above pictures. I also found these pictures on there as well. I suppose we should take the pictures off that camera more often.
