One fun thing about being little is that you can make a mess with your food and everyone thinks it's just so cute and they want to take pictures of you.

It's also fun to spread the mess onto your brother.

Valentines Day

I thought that since Valentines Day is over and since I've had a Valentine background for awhile now, that it might be nice to say something about Valentine's Day. Our whole family was sick, so that was fun. I usually make crepes for Valentine's Day but thought I would try something a little different this year. My mom gave me this book for picky eaters and I found this recipe. They are chocolate banana filled crepes. It calls for a box of brownies and the bananas have like a cup of butter and a half a cup of sugar on them (I only used like 1/4 cup of butter and 1/8 of sugar). If your picky eater wont eat these for breakfast you have a very picky eater!

Our Slide

Ethan was feeling a bit under the weather today so we thought we'd better stay inside. In order to give the kids a bit of physical activity (and to help me from going crazy and to help them go down for a nap and to keep my just cleaned house a little cleaner a little longer and......) I made a little slide for them. Jacob loved it at once but it wasn't love at first sight for Ethan (Part of that could have been because I had to fix the slide a bit. It wasn't steep enough for them to actually slide on it so I had to make some adjustments. Ethan wasn't a bit fan of being kicked off the slide for said adjustments and was a bit angry. Maybe he was taking it out on the slide by not going on it?). He preferred jumping (falling) off the couch at first. He did get into after awhile though. It was pretty fun and will probably be something we do again, and again, and again......

Jacob the Tough Guy

Jacob is forever putting on like 5 outfits at a time. I really don't know why it's fun to have 50 shirts on at one time but when you're 3, it's a blast. I was going through a box of Jacob's clothes the other day. He was keeping himself quiet (always a bad sign) by going through the clothes as well. When I turned around to see what he was doing, he had on like 5 different shirts. He looked like a little muscle man. We tried to get him to make some muscle man moves but this was about all we could get out of him.
