Ethan's "Lotion"

I was up stairs trying to get ready for our trip to Washington when I noticed that Ethan had been down stairs for awhile. Even worse, he was really, really quite. Never a good thing when you're two (unless of course you're asleep). I called down to him asking him what he was doing. He told me that he was putting my lotion on. I have a sunburn and have been using some baby lotion with aloe in it. I figured that that was the lotion that he was talking about. My first thought was that there was lotion all over the place, on him as well as wherever he was putting it on. When I saw him I didn't see any lotion so I told him to show me where the lotion was. He showed me, then I saw this:

I wore sandals to church the Sunday before this happened. I was in a hurry and just put the nail polish on Anthony's desk. Such a fun cute boy.

Bad Energies

Me: Daddy has an interview with google in Seattle.
Jacob: And then we can get away from this sick place?
Me: Why do you call it a sick place?
Jacob: Because Ethan and Dad have bad energies (allergies).

A Little Ketchup

I thought it was about time to do a little catching up on what has been going on since it's been a few days. Ok, weeks. I really just haven't been in the blogging mood for some reason. I suppose I should probably get back in the blogging mood. Doing these long "ketchup" posts just take too long.
So, we shall go all the way back to the last day we had preschool at our house. We did a pirate theme. I had the kids paint "treasure boxes" and get the paper ready for their "treasure maps". The next day I hid their boxes and they had to try and find them using their treasure maps. It was a pretty fun day.

Jacob is a bit of a Buz Lightyear fan.

These little shopping carts usually stay in the garage but they ended up upstairs one day somehow. The kids had lots of fun with them.

Ethan wanted to have Makaylin in his basket as well. His was a bit more flimsy though so she only stayed in his basket for the picture.

My parents came up the Tuesday before we left to go to Washington to go strawberry picking. I must say, picking apples is a bit easier then picking strawberries. I had Makaylin on my back the whole time. They were pretty good!

We went up to Anthony's grandma's farm in Washington over the 4th. It was really nice to see everyone since we missed last year. We didn't get a ton of pictures as usual.

This was a fun one to take. Makaylin cried the whole time.

Anthony made a bottle rocket. The kids all loved it.

Jacob didn't like it to much when he had to share, however.

This was the only picture I had of our tent.

Here's a closer look.

We had lots of fun. If anyone sends me any pictures (as promised) I will post more.

I Just Found Out Today That I Can't Like The Color Blue

Blue is a boy color.
Yellow is a boy color.
Orange is a boy color.
White? Yep, white is also a boy color.
So, what color can I like? Either pink or purple.
Actually, I can like both pink AND purple if I want to. But that's all.
