Mom's Thanksgiving Pictures

We tried to get some Thanksgiving pictures for you. It didn't go so well.

I suppose those aren't too bad. It only gets worse though.

The boys didn't do much better.

We shall have to try again.

Jacob's Quilt

This is a quilt I'm making for Jacob.
It's not quite done; I'm still going to do a brown boarder around it.

Funny side note:
Jacob informed Ethan tonight that when he (Ethan) gets bigger, bigger, the mini-van will be his. I asked Jacob what he will drive when he is bigger, bigger. He told me that he will ask Ethan if he wants to drive or if Ethan wants Jacob to drive. Jacob said that Ethan will want to drive and then Jacob will sit right there (pointing to the passenger seat). I wonder how Ethan will feel about being the chauffeur.

New Beds

Jacob and Ethan are both out of their toddler beds. My parents gave us my brothers' bunk beds. I'm too scared to actually use them as bunk beds right now but someday. We went out and bought new sheets for them (I found a good deal on them too. They were over half off!). The boys were pretty excited.

I think Ethan's doggy was pretty excited as well.
Now he has a bed all to himself.

Sucker Ghosts

I uploaded these pictures awhile ago. I thought I might as well post them.
I thought it would be really fun to make sucker ghosts. You really can't make a sucker ghost without eating a sucker first (or so thought my children).

That was the only ghost that Jacob made, he was done after only making one. Ethan finally ate all his sucker and made, one, ghost as well. Good thing I bought a whole bag of suckers.

I Finished It!!

This is mostly for my mom. I finished the cherry quilt. I thought it would be fun to have the green stand out so I used green thread. It's hard to really see it in this picture so I took a picture of the back stitching as well. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Halloween

This year, the primary was in charge of doing the games for the Harvest Fest at the church. Actually, we volunteered. The youth helped us out with them, manning most of them and decorating. I must say, the young women (or young woman's leader) did a wonderful job of decorating the rooms. There were five rooms, each with a scripture themed game.

We also had Brother of Jared Barge Races but it was a total flop. I didn't get a picture of the room though, which is kinda sad. It was pretty cute as well. Then all the kids went outside to do Trunk or Treating.
