Halloween

This year, the primary was in charge of doing the games for the Harvest Fest at the church. Actually, we volunteered. The youth helped us out with them, manning most of them and decorating. I must say, the young women (or young woman's leader) did a wonderful job of decorating the rooms. There were five rooms, each with a scripture themed game.

We had Malachi's Tithing Toss

(Ethan didn't quite understand that you put your candy in the pumpkin and preferred to hang on to his candy.)

Wandering Israelite Cookie Walk
(None of these are my children but it was the best picture I had of the room.)

Daniel and the Lion's Den Bean Bag Toss

(My children didn't toss, they more, placed the bag in the mouth.)

Fishing with Jonah and the Whale

(Mom, the little girl is Ahna, she was Little Red Riding Hood. Amy made her costume, very cute!!)

We also had Brother of Jared Barge Races but it was a total flop. I didn't get a picture of the room though, which is kinda sad. It was pretty cute as well. Then all the kids went outside to do Trunk or Treating.

The kids, eating their spoils, while we cleaned up.

Us at Steve's party.

Steve the nun holding a Pepsi with Jason (a co-worker) and his wife Melissa.

Makaylin was a sheep at the church party but it was so hot!

We put her in this cute mouse costume for Steve's party which was a little cooler.

What a cute idea for a carnival! Looks like lots of fun.
