Snow Day!!!!

Jacob had a two hour delayed start from school because of all this snow we got. There must have been several feet of the stuff!!!

Just look how much there is!!!!!

 

It always makes me laugh when the schools around here freak out over a light dusting of snow. I suppose some roads may have been a little icy, somewhere, maybe. I just remember waking up before the sun got up for early morning seminary sitting by the radio eating breakfast waiting for them to say that Redmond schools were either canceled or delayed. It NEVER happened. All the towns around Redmond would be canceled or delayed but never Redmond. We would have to have at least a foot of the stuff and even then it was iffy. Maybe I still hold a little bitterness that I was never one of the lucky ones that got to sleep in but seriously people, I can see grass!! LOTS of it!!!!
